Our Approach

We have different approaches that characterize the functioning
of Amacue foundation operations as seen below;

Community mobilization

Amacue foundation undertakes community mobilization so as to raise awareness in community on health and nutrition, importance of education in modern day affairs, gender related issues, socio-economic development before implementing its programmes/projects as a first step. For this purpose Amacue foundation management holds meetings with the community members and capacity building sessions before launching campaigns.

Networking

Amacue foundation promotes networking with other NGOs, CBOs, CSOs, media groups and concerned stakeholders for achieving the organization goals. Networking with other organizations has always proved very productive by playing as medium between the service providers and those at the receiving end. Networking basically provides opportunity for looking at the issues from different angles i.e. from local, national and finally at regional level. At every level the perspective of issue changes, which then helps in comprehending the issue.

Service delivery

We strongly believe in efficient service delivery in the fields of health, education & empowerment. For this purpose, Amacue foundation management has always delivered services in the communities in a transparent manner. It is only because of this very reason that the foundation interventions have helped in meeting the community needs & achieving the desired objectives.

Women Empowerment

Women Empowerment aims at promotion of women to take lead role in democratic norms and culture in the community. We build capacities of women in communities to engage effectively with government and other stakeholders for getting their constitutional rights. We also focus on enhancing women income generation skills through capacity building and micro credit.

Target groups

Amacue foundation basically works mainly for the poorest of the poor in the rural areas. Its target groups include the youth, women and children in the rural communities of Uganda who are still living in miserable conditions and deprived of very basic necessities of life in the field of health, education and development.

Community Based Infrastructure

We are yet to implement this but under Community Based Infrastructure development, we are looking at a wide variety of construction and rehabilitation in the rural infrastructure schemes. Some examples are community water drilling (Boreholes), school construction and Training centre development to mention but a few.
